After ten years of living in the Chicagoland area, Madison now resides in Humboldt Park. She loves spending time in the neighborhood’s park, library, and community garden, as well as exploring the surrounding neighborhood’s food, music, and gallery scenes on the weekends.

At work, she partners with government agencies to make social safety net benefits and healthcare more accessible to all people. She was drawn to adoption as a path to parenthood after a Hebrew School teacher in her youth did the same. She is a recipient of a grant through the JUF in partnership with the Chicago Coalition for Family Building.
