Erin and Joe
Our plan of having a family started when we were married in 2016. Last summer, after years of trying to conceive, we found out I was pregnant. We were over the moon! Unfortunately, we lost our dream. After the miscarriage, we sought out fertility specialists. The doctors explained to us we are part of the 33% of people with unexplained infertility. We have tried multiple rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI) without becoming pregnant. Every doctor we spoke with advised we try in vitro fertilization (IVF). That is when we were referred to the Chicago Coalition for Family Building.

Now by receiving this grant we can begin our IVF journey. This opportunity is a gift that cannot not be measured. We will be eternally grateful.
