We starting dating at 19 years old, so when we married at age 30, we felt beyond ready to start trying to grow our family right away! Danielle was diagnosed with Stage IV endometriosis at age 28 so we began our process with the Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI) right away to be proactive. As we learned more about ourselves, it was clear that IVF was needed.

We had a year of turbulence with our insurance company, which resulted in us giving up on IVF, and we attempted the next best fertility treatment that we could afford. Sadly, two IUI cycles were not successful and we had exhausted our financial resources for this process.

Danielle and Dan are recipients of a donated IVF cycle from our Partner Practice, Fertility Centers of Illinois and had a healthy, happy baby, boy named Theodore in May of 2019!

When we found out that the next step was IVF, we thought our dreams were shattered
