Family Stories

Ana and Daniel

My husband Daniel and I have been together since high school, building a life full of love, commitment, and dreams of a big family. We moved in together in 2006 and welcomed our daughter in 2008 after experiencing a heartbreaking miscarriage the year before. She is now 16 and the light of our lives.

After her birth, we hoped to expand our family again. I tried Clomid through my OBGYN, but with no success. Fertility treatments were out of reach for years due to financial limitations—our insurance only covered diagnosis, not procedures. Despite this, we kept trying naturally, month after month, holding onto hope.

In 2020, I was diagnosed with precancerous polyps and have since undergone three surgeries to remove them. Yearly screenings are now part of my life unless I choose a hysterectomy—a decision I’ve delayed in hopes of one more child.

In June 2023, just after our daughter’s birthday, I was surprised to be pregnant again, but sadly, it ended in miscarriage. That loss renewed our hope.

We continue to hope and pray for a miracle, whether through IVF or natural conception. Through every step of this journey, our love and faith remain strong, and we dream of giving our daughter the sibling she’s longed for.

Ana and Daniel are recipients of a donated cycle from our partner practice, CCRM Fertility.
