Amanda and Franky

My Name is Amanda Cardona and I am 34 years old, from Mexico. My husband is Franky Palma. He is 33 years old and is from Guatemala. We met each other in 2006 in an ESL program for learning English and became friends. We started to spend a lot of time together, our feelings for each other went farther than expected, and we fell in love.

In 2007, we decided to move in together and in April of 2010 we got married. Now it has been a little over six years since we starting trying to become parents. Our first IVF cycle donated by the Coalition was sadly not successful, but we remained hopeful for our future. We decided to proceed with another cycle are excited to share that we are due with twins in 2019!

Amanda and Frankie are recipients of a donated IVF cycle from our Partner Practice, Northwestern Fertility and Reproductive Medicine.
