Our fertility journey began over six years ago, after trying to get pregnant on our own for over a year. We received the devastating news that David was sterile, and we would never be able to conceive on our own. We sat down and discussed our options, and decided that we wanted to pursue embryo adoption, to give the frozen embryos a chance. In our first embryo adoption, we suffered three miscarriages, and were absolutely devastated. With our second adoption, we suffered another miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy, which required surgery and an extensive recovery period for me. After I healed and was cleared to attempt pregnancy again, we transferred our last adopted embryo. We finally were blessed with a positive pregnancy test, and nine months later, a beautiful baby girl!

It has been over a year since our daughter was born, and we are excited to be expanding our family again, and adopting more embryos! We are so thankful for this amazing opportunity to continue to grow our family!

Allison and David are recipients of financial assistance grant.

When we found out that the next step was IVF, we thought our dreams were shattered
