Sheeba and Ritesh

We felt so shattered when we were diagnosed with PCOS soon after getting married in 2011. Within a few months my wife was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which compounded the problem of infertility.

Struggling to fulfill our dream of having a baby, we started visiting doctors for help. We got the same advice of going for IVF from the very beginning, but couldn’t afford it. We started with alternative options of ovulation induction and completed various cycles with clomid and letrozole, but without any success over the years.

We applied for the grant but didn’t get selected in the first list. My wife again went through a mental trauma of losing a chance of having a baby. But almost a month after the results were declared, I got a call from the Coalition saying that we were selected for the grant, as one of the couples had gained insurance coverage.
