The Coalition for Family Building is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Funds raised directly support providing patient education and grants to those struggling with infertility. Every bit helps and no donation is too small.

The Coalition for Family Building was created in honor of Dr. Kevin J. Lederer, reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, who devoted his practice to the care of infertility patients. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, the mission of the Coalition for Family Building is to promote health and alleviate the mental and physical distress of individuals and couples diagnosed with infertility through education and financial assistance.

Your donation provides funding for financial assistance grants which are cash grants (maximum award is $10,000) for eligible costs towards family building. Funds will be paid directly to the service provider(s) and not to the individual receiving the grant. Donations also support IVF cycle grants which helps offset the costs of an IVF cycle from one of our partner practices.

In addition to the grants services awarded, we work with reproductive endocrinologists, urologists, attorneys and psychologists to create free structured patient educational programs both in-person and via webinar. Topics have ranged from legal aspects of adoption or surrogacy, recurrent pregnancy loss, male infertility, genetic testing in ART, fertility financing, and the psychological impact of infertility.
